While in Closed Mode, the Nintendo Switch 2 looks exactly like the Nintendo Switch OLED. However, after removing the Joycon controllers, the console can open like a 3DS. The top half can twist around 180 degrees so that the screen can switch from facing the user while closed to facing the user while open. The bottom half has no screen, but instead, it has built-in ABXY, LR, ZLZR controller buttons along with 3DS style joysticks (circlepads).
